At night you wear the FaceFormer ZERO without practising. It accompanies you through your sleep while your nervous system carries on with what you have learned.

How it works

Insert before going to sleep
Insert the FaceFormer ZERO into the oral vestibule exactly as you do for training: membrane behind the lips, lip wedge pointing horizontally outwards.
Always use the softer ZERO at night.

Simply sleep
You do not practise actively. The FaceFormer stays in your mouth all night, for as long as it will.

Clean in the morning
Rinse it under warm water and place it in the hygiene box.
Your training plan
As soon as nasal breathing feels noticeably easier after about two to three weeks of training, the FaceFormer is used every night. After three to four weeks you can also wear it during everyday life without practising, for example at your desk, while reading or watching television.
Points to note
- Always the FaceFormer ZERO at night.
- Before going to sleep, check that your nose is clear.
- Daytime training continues as usual.
If it is still difficult
In the morning the FaceFormer is lying next to my pillow
That is normal at first. During sleep you pull it out unconsciously because old patterns such as mouth breathing want to take over. Keep inserting it every evening; over time it will stay in all night.
My nose is blocked at night
First continue training during the day so that nasal breathing becomes easier. If your nose is permanently blocked, have this checked by a doctor before you wear the FaceFormer at night.
I wear an occlusal splint at night
Talk to your dentist about how the two fit together. Do not stop using a splint prescribed by your dentist or doctor on your own initiative.

App StoreGoogle PlayFaceFormer training aims to readjust the basic functions of breathing, swallowing and head balance physiologically, with mouth closure and the tongue reference position, thereby creating the conditions for complaints to improve. It does not replace a medical assessment. You can also train on your own with the app and these pages. If you are not making progress, if complaints need to be investigated or if you would like support, you will find practices in the practitioner directory. If you feel pain, stop the training.
