Sore muscles at the back of the head and neck due to FaceFormer® training?
Question
I have already started the FaceFormer training yesterday. Is it normal that the tinnitus gets louder afterwards and that I feel sore muscles in the back of my head and neck? I already had extreme pain in the back of my head, neck and jaw, is training advisable at all?
Answer
With the therapy the system is completely changed, quasi from wrong to right. However, since the wrong postures, movements, reflexes, etc. have existed for many years; from childhood, there may initially be reactions that are perceived as reinforcement. If it stresses you too much, reduce the exercises first. Start with 8 repetitions of just the basic exercise. Add one exercise repetition every day up to 20x. This is the time when you additionally start using it at night. At the same time, add the pulling exercises from now on. Also start with 8 repetitions 3x a day and increase to 20x. From this point on, perform the full program: 3 x daily basic exercise + 3 x daily pulling exercise, both with 20 repetitions + nightly application.
Things start to improve after 2-3 weeks and at least from then on, it’s fun to feel how your own initiative is having an increasingly positive impact on your health.
