The FaceFormer family has grown! By popular demand, the FaceFormer ZERO now complements the product line. The well-known FaceFormer models in blue and crystal clear are of course still available. They are now distributed under the names FaceFormer ONE clear and FaceFormer ONE blue.
The main innovation of the FaceFormer ZERO is its lower material hardness and increased elasticity. The lip-pressing and pulling exercises that must be performed during FaceFormer training require less effort with the FaceFormer ZERO. This makes it easier for many users to start into regular training. In addition, the particularly soft membrane exerts less pressure on the gums and the surrounding oral mucosa. Irritations that sometimes occur at the beginning are even better avoided with the FaceFormer ZERO.
In size and shape, the yellow FaceFormer ZERO is identical to the original model ONE. The ZERO is also of the same in high quality of material and manufacturing that is required for a medical product.
Beginning regular training is easier if novices start their exercises with the FaceFormer ZERO first. As training proceeds, most users will be able to perform the full range of lip-pressure exercises at latest after eight weeks without any major difficulties. To make the exercise therapy a success, it is then recommended to switch to the stronger FaceFormer ONE blue or FaceFormer ONE clear.
The soft and smooth material improves wearing comfort during sleep. Thus, we recommend the FaceFormer ZERO for use at night from the very beginning and for the entire duration of therapy.
The softer material makes it easier for beginners to start regular FaceFormer training. This means that the lip pressure exercises can initially be performed with less effort. As soon as the exercises are fully successful after approx. 8 weeks, it is recommended to switch to the FaceFormer ONE.
The FaceFormer ZERO is especially suitable for night-time use. Because of its softer material, the ZERO is even more mouldable and fits comfortably. Irritations of the gums or oral mucosa, which occur in rare cases, can thus be avoided even better.
Children naturally have less physical strength, also in the area of the lips and mouth. This is why children up to the age of 10 carry out FaceFormer training with the soft FaceFormer ZERO for the entire duration of therapy.
For users who use the FaceFormer for cosmetic reasons, we recommend using the FaceFormer ZERO during regular exercises. Due to the less force required for the pressing exercises, the formation of impressions and wrinkles in the chin area can be better avoided.
